When I was 7 years old, I urinated blood one evening. Then I run a very, very high temperature that night and started talking out of my head. My parents where told to take me straight to the ER. The hospital flew a specialist to Columbus, Ohio from Chicago right away. Her name was Dr. Purdy. I remember that I seem to lay in the hospital bed for so long wanting to go home cause they weren’t doing anything. Come to find out later, that the hospital had given my parents a 50/50 chance for me to live. That there wasn’t anything that they could do. Two men entered my room one day, said “hi”” to me and prayed over me. I got to go home after two weeks, but I HAD to stay off my feet for 6 months, and drink these big, like, three gallon bottles of this black medicine, one dose at a time. I still remember the smell! I couldn’t even go to the restroom and I had to be carried to the couch. I was tutored from Feb. till school was out. That was cool. But, my mom has always said that the diagnosis from the doctor was that I was on the verge of the Bright Disease. I am now 49 and just got the idea of looking it up on the computer. I never knew that it was this serious!!! I have never had any other problems from it. But, now being a born-again Christian, I have confirmed in my heart what I have always felt. That the two strangers that entered my room and prayed over me, that no one else knew anything about, was angels, and God healed his child. Me….Praise God!
