I got my Paraguard in August 08 and have lost a lot of hair since – mostly thinning all over rather than patches. Had hormone and thyroid tests done which all came back OK.The IUD insertion was done a few weeks before I started having hair loss, and I just can’t believe it’s a coincidence. I’m having it removed tomorrow AM. Thanks for all of your posts – they helped me to believe I wasn’t crazy to be linking the hair loss to the IUD. I’ll report back on my results post-removal.
