Do not drink on welbutrin. It’s not a good idea, and here’s why: welburtin is an ANTI-DEPRESSENT, keeps you from feeling all crappy and depressed, liquor on the other hand is a DEPRESSENT. When you drink with the welbutrin, even if you only have a couple of beers, the effects of the medication are reversed, the following tow days after you drink can be really bad, mood swings and depression. It’s unrealistic to expect someone never to drink again while on welbutrin, but just realize that when you do drink, you get drunk MUCH MUCH faster, it’s easier for you to black out, and the follwoing two days your mental health will suffer. Be careful, but have fun too. Don’t stop living your life because of your meds, just remember to take them!
