I thought I had a UTI and gave a urine speciment for same yesterday. I was told by the RN that it was “fine – just had a lot of protien in it””. I asked what that meant and was asked whether I’d had sex in the last couple of days (which I had). I was then told that it was simply indicative of same…is this correct or do I have a UTI?
