it’s kind of late in the year to be harvesting st Johns, but you can try. If you do not wish to kill the plant only take part of the plant growing above the ground….say 20 or 30% and leave the rest. The plant should survive quite well. When making a tincture of st johns be sure to use at least 75% alcohol or you will not get a quality tincture. If you need any other info just e-mail me.
