I’m wondering the same things as Keith. I too have researched many distance learning programs and I thought the UNM program looked quite comprehensive. I was impressed with both the course content and the faculty members. But I have yet to find anyone who has first hand experience with the Uni.
Keith, the admin person at UNM is quite helpful on all the non-technical stuff. The Director however, seems to be quite difficult to get a hold of even through email. Failing any responses on this message board, maybe you could try asking the admin person for the names and contact info of present or past students and gain some insight from them.
