I was where you are now. After weaning off of effexor, I was so sick I could not do anything. I found some other people’s solutions and went back to the doctor. My doctor gave me, at my request, 37.5mg of effexor AND 20 mg of prozac for 1 week, after I had weaned my self from 225mg a day to 37.5 mg a day. I have been off of all of it for 10 days now and feel a little extra tired, have a few anxiety attacks, and have nausea on and off, but it is mild compared to what I had. No “brain zaps”” either, that’s a plus. I have been searching for a class action suit against the makers of effexor, but cannot find a current one. The doctors don’t even know how bad this crap is.
