I just came off of effexor. I was taking 150mg for about 2yrs now. My doctor recommended stepping down slowly. It worked. Every time i went to a lower dose I had a “dizzy”” day but it wasn’t too bad. After my last 37.5 mg the first day was ok…the second was a bit more tricky. I felt like I could just rip someones head off but that only lasted a day or so. Doing ok now. Don’t go cold turkey ask the doctor for a trial pack and take it backwads. Good luck.
