Hello, My name is Darleen I turned 30 this year and have had cronic idiopatic uticaria for a year and a half. I initally had a acute breakout covering my hips/thighs/ and many on arms and chest. My eye swelled and ear puffed up also. I am on zertec, zantac, and volmax. These three work together to form what is called an HB blocker. The way I understand it is that it closes the cell so my body doesn’t release histamine. My allergist told me he sees 5 patients a day with the same thing and it will go away within two years. They have decreased and usually reappear in same area when stressed. It’s weird to say but sometimes I can not touch them when they itch and they go away faster.
