i was diagnose with severe sigmoid diverticulosis and muscle hypertrophy and haustral thickening. moderate diverticulosis is present in the descending colon and occcasional scattered diverticula are present in the right colon. doctor advised to have operation. could you please tell me if this operation has been successful as my doctor has not given me a lot of information on this surgery.
