Like George, I was on Effexor 150 mg for about 6 months. I was decreasing the amounts in the capsule the same way. I was given a 37 1/2 mg. tablet by my dr. within this last month as we were weaning me off. She also gave the instructions that I could stop this anytime with no side effects as it was such a minimal dose. WELL!…since stopping 5 days ago, I’ve been battling headaches, nausea, vomitting, and dizziness. I’m feeling a little better today, the 5th day off the junk. I was thinking I had a touch of the flu and sinus infection until I stumbled on this site. Now, I’m sure it’s the Effexor.
