I have been off effexor xr for three days now, not because i am trying to wean myself off, but because I had forgotten to to refill the prescription. I started a having “foggy brain”” and tiredness. Then I woke up this morning feeling worse. My heart was skipping beats. I could not get enough air into my lungs. I felt so out of control of my body. I knew what was going on around me, but I felt as if I was having an out of the body experience. All that I could do was cry, because I was scared of what was happening to me. I am not a “”drug User”” and never have been until I started taking effexor last year to help out with mild depression. What should I do? I do not like feeling this way- being so out of control of my body.
