Bartholin's cyst

Hey, my gynecologist diagnosed a Bartholin's cyst on the left side. Since I don't have any pain he just recommended sit baths and hot compresses for now. Have been doing that every day for two weeks but there is no improvement so far. Is there anything else that I could do to help the body to heal? Gynecologist said if it doesn't go away he would consider draining it, although that might invite more problems. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you very much!!!
