I tried using birth control pills after I had my daughter in 2002, my hair started falling out and I had many other scary symptoms. I decided to try the Paraguard IUD without hormones. WHAT a difference. My hair stopped falling out. I felt so much better my cycle was a little heavy and longer for about 4 to 6 months but slowed and shortened after that. My cycles were very normal. I kept the IUD in for 5 years and was very happy with the results. My husband and I are trying for another baby and the Dr. said it could happen very soon because I did not use a birth control that had hormones.
