That happened to my 4 year old son. He fell on the step at the pool and I noticed about a week later it was discolored. I took him to his dentist. He said that there is nothing they could do really. They did an xray and everything looked ok. They said that if my son complains with it hurting that they might have to pull it. They also said that it could become absesed and they would have to do a root canal. He said that it MIGHT get lighter in a couple of months. The dentist is going to just keep checking it. I wouldn’t worry about it unless she complains about it hurting or a bump appears on the gum above the tooth(per my dentist). My dentist did say that about 40% of little boys do have a discolored or bruised, as he said tooth. Hope this helps you some.
