My niece just found out she has protein in her urine. She was sick and the DR was just doing a checkup. She is 12 years old. She has no symptoms so what can this possibly mean? She is going to a pediatric kidney DR in 2 weeks. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I have been reading online and it says possible diabetes, or some kind of kidney disease. Well, any information would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
