Dear Linda Perkins, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a difficult situation. Beyond supporting and listening to him, it might be helpful to contact local therapists or his psychologist to find support groups for caregivers. Your local library should have a number of books detailing how to effectively live with PTSD, and give you some surviver\'s accounts of what it is like. As I do alternative therapies, I know several (homeopathy, cranio-sacral) have had some benefit for PTSD. If your husband is not finding relief or has side effects from the medication, it might be something worth looking into. Your local, licensed Naturopathic doctor might help (www.naturopathic.org or via this site.)

Best of luck, Chris Maloney, Naturopathic Doctor www.maloneymedical.com Portland Maine
