My grandmother had bright’s disease when she was only 2…she is now around the age of 80. At that time she was told to drink lemon soda pop and eat barely anything else. Now she is having a lot of problems with her bones and arthritis and other things of that nature. She eventually will crush her organs with her body…does anyone know if there is a connection. In those days there wasn’t a lot to do for a disease like that…espaecially for a poor southern ohio family during the depresion. Do you know anything…or anywhere that I can find some info. she is desperately wanting to know after all these years what she had and what are the effects of this mysterious disease. Please help!
