I was already taking ativan regularly for anxiety, but ran out of it a week before I ran out of effexor 150mg. I was having ativan withdrawal and then added the effexor withdrawal. I now have nothing to take to calm my nerves and this is pure hell. I have no way to buy these drugs anymore because of my financial situation. The doctors should warn us about the withdrawal consequences. I honestly don’t think they even know or care. There are times when I feel suicidal because this is too much to bear, but I am fighting with all that I have. I just started college this fall and don’t know if I can continue because my brain feels like it is swooshing aroung in my head sending electrical shocks all through my body just from merely moving my eyes (I can also hear whatever is going on in there). The muscle spasms along with my fibromyalgia are unbearable especially since I can’t afford my prescription pain meds anymore either. I feel so helpless and just don’t know what to do. It was good to get that off my chest and to know that I am not alone.
