I was on that prednisone for 3 months and I found that it made me really irritable and moody, I really was not myself. It almost drove me crazy. I felt really dizzy and I’ve been told it is a very unhealthy drug to be on. I refuse to take it anymore. I only get hives now when I go to work and it is just around my ankles which also swell up. I find Benadryl and calamine lotion to work very well and a cold cloth. Hot baths are soothing but it only makes things worse.
