Posted by beverly still on 10/12/00 at 06:05 AMat 19 i had this,now at 44 i have had no problems. i thought i was gaining weight until i had a hard time breathing. i went to doctor he knew what i had when he saw me. he asked if i had any cuts on me.i had cut my toe and it was takung a long time to heal. he admitted me to the hospital that day. my family had to wear masks when entering my room,and wash there hands. no germs could i had a strict diet,no salt. after 3 weeks i went home no problems since. some doctors today ask what is brights disease? now they seem to just call it nephritis. i do not know of any family member ever having this.
